Fisdap is hiring! We’re looking for someone with strong experience in LAMP environments for a DevOps/release-manager role. Are you self-motivated and love to learn? Join our highly collaborative, self-directed, agile team in a small enterprise environment.

The Job

This is a DevOps position with responsibility for proactively ensuring/monitoring the health of our PHP application: selection of software technology, unit testing, deployment/release and performance of production software. Your focus will be on establishing and facilitating good processes and creating useful tools. Our goal with the position is to become more proactive in ensuring strong user experience by catching more bugs prior to deployment, reducing errors in deployment, and improving subjective performance through active monitoring of production code. You will work collaboratively with our developers and sysadmins to achieve this goal.

“DevOps engineers are either developers who get interested in deployment and network operations, or sysadmins who have a passion for scripting and coding, and move into the development side where they can improve the planning of test and deployment” (“What is a DevOps Engineer?”).
