Multistate 5-year Initiative to Improve Care for Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest: Primary Results from the HeartRescue Project
van Diepen S, Girotra S, Abella BS, et al.

This month we will discuss the primary results from the HeartRescue Project. The HeartRescue Project is a public health initiative focused on establishing statewide out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) systems of care. This study, recently published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, evaluated data from the Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES). The study period was from 2011 to 2015, and examined all adults with EMS-treated OHCA due to a presumed cardiac cause from the five original HeartRecue states (Arizona, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington).
The Journal Club discussion will begin at 12:00 PM (CST). We look forward to having you join us! Please register now.
