Canadian EMS Research Agenda & Magnesium Sulfate as Neuroprotection - PCRF Journal Club

October 21, 2015
This month, PCRF fellow Megan Corry and PCRF Director David Page led our discussion of two studies: a feasibility study mixed-methods study on the state of EMS research in Canada and a study on the use of magnesium sulfate as neuroprotection in the prehospital setting.

Read the studies and follow along with the podcast discussion:

"The Canadian National EMS Research Agenda: Impact and Feasibility of Implementation of Previously Generated Recommendations," published September 2015 in the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine.

"Prehospital Use of Magnesium Sulfate as Neuroprotection in Acute Stroke," published February 2015 in New England Journal of Medicine.

The PCRF Journal Club convenes on the second Monday of each month.
