Patient Acuity Report & Bug Fixes

December 9, 2014
One of our customers wanted more data about the acuity of her students' patients. We thought this information could be valuable to educators, so we've created a new report!

Introducing Our New Notification Center

November 17, 2014

This new feature at the top of the navigation bar is a brand new channel for you to receive important updates about Fisdap. For now, you'll only receive two types of notifications:

  • Software Update: These notifications will include information about newly released feature enhancements, bug fixes, and other changes to the Fisdap software.
  • Downtime: This type of notification will appear when the site is scheduled to go offline for maintenance. This won't happen too often, but it is occasionally required to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

To dismiss a notification, simply click the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the message. Once you've dismissed a notification, click the bell icon Bell Icon to access a list of all past notifications.

We're very excited about this new communication system, and we hope it will help us more effectively communicate important information about the site.

Background Processing Enabled for Compliance & Addresses for Clinical Departments

October 9, 2014
This week, we released a few small improvements to Fisdap:

Making changes to your schools compliance requirements can take a while, given they affect so many students at once. Rather than requiring you to sit and wait while your changes are made, these updates are now processed in the background.

If you use Fisdap Testing in your paramedic program, it’s important to understand the accreditation requirements pertaining to exams. From the CoAEMSP Site Visitor Manual:

Two Small Updates to the Site Navigation

August 27, 2014

Upon logging into Fisdap, you'll notice two small changes in the upper right corner, above the navigation bar:

Bulk Approve and Deny Shift Requests

August 7, 2014

If you allow your students to submit shift change requests (drop, cover, or swap) we understand that the list of pending shift requests can start to pile up. Our change should help!

3 Small Improvements to the Scheduler for a Big Effect

July 18, 2014

1. Edit the date of a single shift

If you select a shift that is not part of a series, or select a single shift from a series, you will have the option to edit the date of that shift. You can push it out into the future, but you cannot move it into the past.

We updated the notification emails that get sent when a change is made to be more informative and helpful. The email now shows both the old shift details and the new shift details, and we highlight the information that changed.

Skills Tracker Settings Now Include Option to Manage Goals Widgets on the MyFisdap Page

July 2, 2014

As a program administrator, you can visit the Skills Tracker Settings page to control which types of goals your students will see displayed on their MyFisdap pages. By selecting whether you want to display Lab, Field and/or Clinical skills data, you can help the students more easily interpret their progress toward their Graduation Requirements. This is a beneficial feature if you only want students to look at field and/or clinical skills for their Graduation Requirements progress.
