Skills Tracker

The Fisdap Skills Tracker documents student learning, reports achievement and growth, and aids program accreditation and self-study. Motivate your students with graphs and reports that help them understand strengths and weaknesses.

How it works

After each patient contact, students document their experience on the Fisdap website. They can even record practice with manikins.
Students, instructors, preceptors, medical directors—the whole educational community—can monitor and evaluate the students' experiential learning.
When it comes time for accreditation and end-of-term check ups, instructors and students can quickly and easily generate comprehensive reports without referencing stacks and stacks of paper.

And it gets even better

  • The Fisdap Robot will automatically email you when a student has a significant patient encounter, send you the students’ patient care narratives, and remind you when students are late entering data. Read more about the Fisdap Robot’s time-saving communications.
  • Skills Tracker is fully integrated with the Fisdap Scheduler. When shifts are picked or assigned in the Scheduler, they automatically appear in the student's Skills Tracker account, which increases student accountability.
  • Students who have agreed to share their data contribute to important national research. This data is frequently used by participants of the annual Prehospital Care Research Summit.

Fisdap Mobile

Using Fisdap Mobile, students can view their Shift List and enter patient care data on the go from their smart phones. Just like our full website, students and instructors can use Fisdap Mobile to enter, edit, and review data as well as check the Goals Report.

If you are already using Skills Tracker, check out Fisdap Mobile on your smart phone: www.fisdap.net/mobile

The Mobile Skills Tracker currently supports the iPhone, the Palm Pre, and phones running the Android operating system.

Fisdap Evals

Fisdap Evals are a series of forms and National Registry skill sheets for students and preceptors to complete online. Our evals help you track student performance in lab skill stations, prompt preceptors to give students feedback, and promote self-reflection and self-evaluation among your students.

Skill Sheets - Evaluate Skill Performance

Fisdap provides each program with a standard set of Evals based on National Registry skill sheets for both ALS and BLS skills. Use Skill Sheet Evals to:
  • analyze a skill performance.
  • automatically deduct points when a student makes a mistake.
  • recognize "critical criteria", automatically failing the student.
  • immediately calculate the overall score.
  • indicate failure or success.

Evaluations - Collect Feedback

Fisdap programs can access a standard set of evaluation sheets contributed by Fisdap users. This set of Evals includes a preceptor evaluation, a site evaluation and a team lead evaluation. Use Evals to:
  • provide feedback about various aspects of your program.
  • allow your students to rate the preceptors and sites they work with.
  • contribute valuable information to quality-improvement programs.
  • manage information necessary for accreditation.
