The use of technology in education and online learning have significantly increased since 2012. However, the effectiveness of online learning is still largely unknown. With our sudden need to make the quick switch to online learning, we reviewed a study that aimed to evaluate whether online learning can improve learning outcomes of undergraduate medical students compared to offline learning.
