Curious on how Fisdap pilot exams help shape released assessments and impact the Fisdap community? Explore the reasons to administer a pilot test in your classroom:
How does Pilot testing process work?
Pilot testing helps the Fisdap community when instructors administer this test to their students or fellow educators. This essential step of the process determines the validity of the questions and the future direction of each Fisdap assessment.
Why do Pilot Exams work?
Pilot testing is a necessary part of the exam testing and creation process that allows the Fisdap team to identify any issues with an exam before it is released for purchase. Pilot testing allows our team to run a statistical analysis on how the test items and exam performs overall. Additionally, pilot testing is critical for us to determine the predictive value of an exam.
How do Pilot Exams affect future testing?
Fisdap includes the EMS community in all phases of item creation and validation. Pilot testing is an essential step of the exam development process to determine the validity of test items and future directions of exams.
Why should educators administer this pilot to students?
While in the pilot phase, educators can use the pilot exams as an additional resource for students for free. Piloting our exams also gives students and educators a voice in the credibility and appropriateness of our exams.
